Colonic transposition of the oesophagus

This 89-year-old man had undergone oesophagectomy and partial gastrectomy with subcutaneous colonic transposition 20 years ago following an oesophageal rupture after vomiting (Boerhaave’s syndrome). He had no difficulty in swallowing and remained asymptomatic.
