A 72-year old man presented with right upper quadrant pain, jaundice and fever. He was deemed unfit for cholecystectomy, and so his gallbladder empyema was drained percutaneously. Two years later he attended hospital with a suspected abscess in the right upper quadrant abdominal wall. Several gallstones were removed from just under the skin with forceps. This is an example of late presentation of a cholecysto-cutaneous fistula.
