Long intact plaque extracted by femoral artery endarterectomy (August 2022 [1])

This intraoperative image shows an intact calcified plaque removed by endarterectomy. The plaque had caused a long occlusion of the superficial femoral artery. Superficial femoral artery endarterectomy should be considered when the saphenous vein is unavailable.
