This shows a coeliac axis aneurysm. These rare aneurysms normally require treatment at 2 cm or larger, to prevent rupture. This has been repaired with an endovascular stent-graft to direct flow from the coeliac axis into the hepatic artery. Coils are seen within the left gastric and splenic arteries to prevent refilling of the aneurysm by retrograde flow (type 2 endoleak). Splenic artery embolisation is usually tolerated without splenic infarct due to collateral supply.
