Perforated jejunal diverticulum. A 60-year-old woman presented with acute generalized abdominal pain and a long history of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory use for chronic back pain. On examination she had peritonitis. At laparotomy she was found to have multiple large jejunal diverticula, one of which had perforated. She underwent resection of the jejunal segment shown and primary end-to-end anastomosis. Her postoperative recovery was unremarkable.
