The CT scan shows a portosystemic shunt from the portal vein, through the paraumbilical and left epigastric veins, ending in the left external iliac vein. The laparoscopic view shows the portosystemic shunt in the paraumbilical vein at the falciform ligament. These findings are typical of patients with portal hypertension.
