Stuck Dormia basket

A 65 year old woman underwent an endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreaticography for common bile duct stones. An endoscopic sphincterotomy was preformed, but extraction of the stone failed because the Dormia basket got stuck. At laparotomy, the basket, together with the stone, were removed by cystocholedochotomy.
