Conclusion

Survival outcomes were compared in this analysis that included material from 34 RCTs. The highest survival rates were seen after mastectomy with radiotherapy. Breast-conserving surgery with axillary sampling and radiotherapy almost reached the threshold for inferiority for overall survival.
