Conclusion

Some 180 patients were treated with one of three radiofrequency ablation devices for their varicose veins. Closure of the great saphenous vein after six months was highest with VenefitTm (100 per cent), followed by RFITT Tm (98 per cent), and lastly EVRF Tm (79 per cent), P<0.01. Clinical outcomes and quality of life were similar.
