A systematic review and meta-analysis of remote ischemic preconditioning for vascular surgery. J Vasc Surg 2019; 70: 1353-1363

Conclusion

A total of 13 studies were included in the meta-analysis, including 548 procedures. No benefit was found in mortality, renal dysfunction, myocardial infarction, or duration of stay.
