A systematic review of the impact of preoperative exercise for patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm. J Vasc Surg 2020; 71: 2123-2131.

Conclusion

This study included six RCTs and one cohort study. Exercise improved ventilatory threshold and anaerobic threshold but not peak oxygen consumption. The effects on clinical outcomes are awaited from bigger trials.
