Conclusion

The trial included 258 patients followed for a median of 72.8 months after their surgery. The addition of chemotherapy did not improve disease-free survival (hazard ratio 0.92, 95 per cent confidence interval 0.66 to 1.27) or overall survival (0.9, 0.64 to 1.26).
