Conclusion

Lipiodol was given 4-6 weeks after curative resection in this study of 103 patients. Recurrence-free survival (hazard ratio 0.75, 95 per cent confidence interval 0.46 to 1.23) and overall survival (0.88, 0.51 to 1.51) were not improved significantly.
