Conclusion

Some 10447 patients were included. Dual antiplatelets reduced the risk of non-fatal recurrent stroke (relative risk 0.70, 95 per cent confidence interval 0.61 to 0.8, absolute risk reduction 1.9 per cent. They did not affect all-cause mortality.
