Effectiveness of fibrin sealant application on the development of staple line complications after sleeve gastrectomy: a prospective randomized trial. Ann Surg 2018; 268: 762-768.

Conclusion

The application of glue did not affect staple line complication rates in this study that included 586 procedures: 2 versus 1.3 per cent with no glue, P=0.52. There were no differences in any of the secondary endpoints either.
