Conclusion

Some 410 patients were randomly allocated eleven telephone-based health coaching sessions over six months. At twelve months, the intervention improved physical activity and reduced patient weight, and improved dietary habits. It did not affect alcohol intake, smoking habit or cancer-related fatigue.
