Conclusion

In this study that included 221 procedures, after two years clinical success rates were 83 per cent after endoscopic myotomy and 81.7 per cent after laparoscopic Heller’s procedure. At two years, reflux oesophagitis was more common after endoscopic myotomy: 44 versus 29 per cent.
