Conclusion

Mean follow-up was 15 years in this study that included 75 procedures. Patients that had Roux-en-Y reconstruction were more likely to be asymptomatic (P<0.001), and more likely to have a normal stomach remnant on endoscopy (100 vs. 18 per cent, P<0.02)
