Conclusion

Some 55 RCTs were included that studied 17 062 patients. The rate of pancreatitis was 12.2 per cent in controls, and was reduced significantly by Intravenous fluids and non steroidal drugs, and stents. Rectal diclofenac was the most effective non steroidal.
