Conclusion

In this study of 125 evaluable patients, a personalized rehabilitation plan improved aerobic capacity P<0.001, and reduced the number of patients with postoperative complications by 51 per cent: relative risk 0.5, 95 per cent confidence interval 0.3 to 0.8, P=0.001.
