Conclusion

In this trial that included 107 procedures, morphine use within the first 48h was reduced most by laparoscopic transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block, which was superior to ultrasound-guided TAP block (P=0.03) and no block (P=0.007). Overall complications were similar.
