Conclusion

Some 155 patients were randomized into one of three groups. After six months, residual femoral artery stenosis was least after drug-coated balloon plus stenting (34 per cent) compared to plain angioplasty and stenting (56 per cent) and atherectomy (55 per cent); both P<0.01.
