Conclusion

Perioperative complication rates were similar after each procedure in this trial that included 180 infants. Laparoscopic pyloromyotomy was associated with faster return to full feeding (18.5 vs. 23.9h, P=0.002) and shorter hospital stay (33.6 vs. 43.8h, P=0.027
