There were 16 RCTs including 2011 patients. Risk of treatment failure at three months was lowest after stent grafting: compared to plain balloon angioplasty, odds ratio 0.53, 95 per cent confidence interval 0.34 to 0.84. The best interventions to salvage a failing graft were drug-eluting balloon angioplasty and stent grafting.
