Treatment for primary varicose veins

Bruce Campbell published a leading article in the August issue of BJS entitled ‘New evidence on treatments for varicose veins’, which is free to access.  There are also a number of additional articles in the August issue on the subject of varicose veins. Julie Brittenden and colleagues will publish their article entitled ‘Cost-effectiveness of ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy, endovenous laser ablation or surgery as treatment for primary varicose veins from the randomized CLASS trial’ in the November issue.
