Conclusion

In this study that included 204 patients, early jejunal feeding was associated with an increased risk of postoperative complications (77.5 versus 64.4 per cent, P= 0.04), and an increased risk of pancreatic fistula (48.1 versus 27.7 per cent, p=0.012).
