Conclusion

The study included 236 patients that reached follow-up at seven years. The rates of hernia recurrence (4.3 per cent glue; 2.5 per cent sutures, P=0.491) and chronic groin pain (13 versus 12 per cent, P=0.843, respectively) were similar.
