A systematic review of randomized controlled trials of wound dressings for chronic venous ulcer. J Vasc Surg 2006; 44: 1118¿1125.

Conclusion

There were 20 trials but many of poor quality. A number of different dressings appeared to improve ulcer healing: zinc oxide, granulocyte colony stimulating factor, porcine collagen, Tegasorb, human skin.
