Conclusion

Twelve patients had each leg randomized to a different treatment. Healing was significantly better with Circaid (a non-elastic compression garment) than standard four layer compression: hazard ratio 0.56, 95 per cent confidence interval 0.33 to 0.96, P=0.017).
