Conclusion
Some 153 patients with uncomplicated varicose veins were included. After two years, patients in the surgery group had improved Venous Clinical Severity Scores (from 4.8 to 0.6 compared to 4.6 to 3.5 in controls; P<0.01) and better health-related quality of life.
