Conclusion

A total of 116 patients with ruptured aneurysm were randomised . At 30 days, rates of death and major complications were similar: 42 per cent after endovascular and 47 per cent after open repair. Respective 30 day mortality rates were also similar : 21 versus 25 per cent.
