Conclusion

After one year, all-cause mortality was 41.1 per cent for the endovascular strategy and 45.1 per cent after open surgery (P=0.325). EVAR patients were discharged sooner (17 versus 26 days, P<0.001), and had better quality of life, thus making it cost effective: incremental net benefit 4356 euros.
