Conclusion

There were three arms in this study that included 115 procedures: intermittent inflow clamping, sevoflurane (pharmacological postconditioning) and continuous inflow occlusion (control). Both active interventions improved postoperative liver function, reduced complications and shortened hospital stay by 2-4 days.
