Conclusion

Five trials that included 723 patients were examined. After 6 months, the ulcer healing rate was improved by flavonoid fraction (relative increased healing rate 32 per cent, 95 per cent confidence interval 3 to 70 per cent), particularly in larger and longstanding ulcers.
