Conclusion

The duration of operation and postoperative complication rates were similar in this study that included 82 procedures. Use of adhesive strips reduced pain scores on day one after operation (2.0 vs. 2.6, P=0.015), and cosmetic scores at six weeks (4.6 vs. 3.7, P=0.012).
