Conclusion

Twenty-five patients with recurrent stenosis within three months of primary angioplasty were recruited initially. Early restenosis within 3 months occurred in 7/10 evaluable patients who had a bare stent and 2/11 who had a stent graft (P=0.024). Respective one year primary patencies were 32 per cent and zero (P=0.002)
