Conclusion

The study included 14 RCTs. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs were best at reducing metachronous tumours (odds ratio 0.37, 95 per cent credible interval 0.24 to 0.53). Low dose aspirin was less effective (0.71, 0.41 to 1.23), but had a better safety profile.
