Conclusion

Sixty patients with < 20 percent burns were included after skin grafting. Negative pressure suction (-80mmHg) reduced the median rate of skin graft loss after four days from 4.5cm2 to zero (P=0.001) and median hospital stay from 17 to 13.5 days, P<0.001.
