Conclusion

A total of 40 studies (16 randomized) that included 3711 procedures were analysed. The single port technique took longer (mean 16 min), but had shorter hospital stay (0.16 days). Pain scores and complication rates were similar, but cosmetic outcomes favoured the single port method.
